Elins birthday

This weekend my youngest sister Elin had her 18th birthday... I guess she's a big girl now, although she will always be small to me hehe. All our relatives came for the party. Me and Toine, together with my parents and grandmother, gave her a new digital camera. It's water proof just as she wanted it hehe. We also gave her a cake slicer since we thought it would fit nice on her birthday.

Later in the evening me and Toine went out to celebrate the birthday of a friend of ours which happened to be the same day. We went to Hard Rock Café for some nice dinner and then went to a bar for some beer. It was a good time!

And now it's almost time for my own birthday...

Sleep over

HAHA...I'm at my parents place right now helping to prepare for Elins birthday on saturday. She turns 18 which is a big number in Sweden. When you are 18, you are "of age". You have the right to vote, go out to bars, drink alcohol, smoke...basicly do whatever you want (and suffer the consequenses). Anyway...here I am at my parents place and it got a little too late for me to go home, so I'm staying the night. Sleeping in Yvonnes room since she is in norrland. I will lay in her bed, use her bedwarmer and watch her "little house on the prarie" dvds on her TV...and write my blog on her computer hehehe! Good night!

2012

As you might have guessed. Me and Toine went to the cinema yesterday. Together with my friend Karro and her little brother Andy. We had booked tickets to see the movie "2012". I've heard a lot about the movie, among other things that it was going to be all action and special effects and almost no storyline so I didn't really know what to think about the movie. But the trailer looked cool so I still wanted to see it.

Well I think what I heard was rather correct. however that doesn't mean the movie was bad in any way. Quite the opposite... I was glued to the chair with my muscles stiff and cramped from excitement. It was really thrilling and the effects were very well made!

On the way home me, Karro and Andy made up stories of our own and ended up with imagining that Karro was gonna write them all, I was gonna direct them all, Andy was going to play all the lead roles and Toine was going play all the side characters haha. We sat there immagining what it would look like with Andy as both the T-rex and the guy sitting on the toilet being eaten by the T-rex would look like (jurrasic park) and how Andy would play both Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet on the Titanic and make out with himself inside the car...We had some great laughs!

Mommys new babies!

I went to IKEA in Barkarby today to buy a birthday present for my grandmother, and while I was there I decided to take a little walk to Solna Zoo which is just behind IKEA. I bought a new "Cora", I guess I will call it Cora II haha. I also ended up with 2 little ancistrus babies that are swimming around and sucking on exactly everything and everyone in the aquarium right now. I guess they like their new home! The girl at the desk was very nice and wrapped the bag with paper to protect the fishes from the cold... When I look at the temperature right now it says -15 C hehe.

This is one of the baby ancistrus. I call it "Black" for now since it has rather dark fins. It's too small to tell if it's male or female yet.

The other baby ancistrus, I call it Grey, since well... It is rather grey. It is also too small to know if it's male or female.

Happy New Year!

A little bit late but still... Better now than never! We spent new years eve at my parents place together with half of the Gustafsson famly (The parents only) and Elins boyfriend Simon. Yvonne and her boyfriend Ville decided in the last minute (or somewhat like that) to go to a party in Upsala. It was fun as always. Toine impressed everyone with showing off that he actually can cook if he wants to. There was some nice fireworks too. However not as loud as in the Netherlands.
