Week 33 (almost)

Tomorrow week 33 starts. Only 7 weeks left now, time is going both slow and fast at the same time hehe. I can reveal now that I have told the family, that we are going to have a little baby girl!

She is growing so much and is taking all my space now! She doesn't have much space herself because she can't kick me as much anymore, she mostly stretches out instead but she's very active. And she has hick-ups several times a day. It's a funny feeling. I'm still waiting for her to turn around cause she has her head up. Hopefully she will turn on her own before week 36.

She should be around 2,2kg now.

Week 31 and ultrasound!

Not just any ultrasound. It was a 3D/4D ultrasound! It was a lot of fun! We got to see the baby move around, blinking with the eyelids, playing with the feet. Baby has got the cutest little apple cheeks and looks like it's going to have my nose! We found out the baby already has hair, and that it's a little bigger than average. About 2kg now and expected to be around 4kg when born. We will see how big the baby is later in march when we have a new ultrasound. We got the whole show on a dvd, and also a cd with pictures and little movieclips! The midwife said that everything looked just fine with the baby. But sadly the umbilical cord was in front of the face so the pictures are not as sharp as they could have been. But it's ok. It was a really fun experience!

Week 29

Toine's parents has traveled back home again. It was nice to see them again and we had some busy days! We went to basically every baby store there is near my town. And they gave us a wonderful gift for the baby. A beautiful and smart, great wagon. And Toines brother and his girlfriend gave us the car seat for the baby! It's week 29 now and the baby is being very active. There is almost never a quiet moment inside haha. Toine can feel it quite good as well now on the outside.

We are going to book a time for a 3D/4D ultrasound as well. It's going to be awesome! It is a birthday present to me from Toine.

This is the colors we picked! This one in brown with a pattern on the inside.

The car seat for the baby. We couldn't choose the brown color for this one so we picked a bright color instead.

The same for the seating which will be used later when the baby is older. The brown color was not available but this was one of my favorites too!
